Setting up a Flare Kite Collector & Site

Getting started with Flare Kite is quick and straightforward. This step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the process of setting up your first collector to begin monitoring your video conferencing devices.

Step 1: Log In to Flare Kite (dashboard.flarekite.com)

Upon successful login, you will see the dashboard. You can access the setup section by going to the bottom of the dashboard and selecting Memberships & Subscriptions, then clicking on the Flare Kite logo.

Step 2: Create Your First Site

To get started, click on the Create a New Site button.

Step 3: Fill Out Site Information

Complete the form with the necessary information to create your first site. You can always add multiple sites later, but for now, focus on creating this one.

Step 4: Download the Collector App

Once you’ve completed the site form, click on Download Collector Flare Kite button to start downloading the app.

Step 5: Retrieve Your App PIN

After successfully installing the app, a 6-digit PIN will display. Write this PIN down as you’ll need it in the next step. Next, click the URL below the PIN to return to Flare Kite and verify the site you just created.

Step 6: Verify the Site

On the Flare Kite dashboard, click Verify to enter your app PIN.

Step 7: Input the PIN

Enter the 6-digit PIN you retrieved from the app and click Enter to confirm verification.
